FAMOUS ABOUT FRANSTAL'S

I met mr. Rade Dakic Kica in the Netherlands, in may 1997, at International Amstaff's Seminar.

It was one of the best things that has hapened to me , because now he is a good friend of mine.

One reason I was glad that I had met Kica, was that I had seen photos of some of his dogs really impressed me. He had some dogs that I wished I could have seen in person and put my hands on them. Such as : Ch. Highlander Franstal of Tower and Aris od Franstala and bitch jessy of Tower.

I did get to see Ch. Franstal's Clarion of Ruffian here in United States at dog show.

Clarion was my type of dog ( only his eye colour could have been darker, but you can't have everything )

To me, Mr. Rade Dakic Kica is a true gentleman and family man who has done great job with his breeding program since he started in 1987.

Kica loves the breed and has hard to promote The American Staffordshire Terriers fine qualities to all his country man.

I met Kica in 1994. I received a very enthusiastic phone call, inviting me to judge in Belgrade.

After talking it over with my husband ( who thought I was crazy ) I agreed.

Thank you Kica for honour to be your friend and experience your great country, people and dogs.

Someone once said its not a destination thats important, but the real pleasure is in the journey !

Moj prvi susret sa Kicom je bio 1994. godine na sastanku Kluba za americke stafordske terijere u Beogradu.

Bas nekako u to vreme, Kica se spremao da izda svoju knjigu " AST u Jugoslaviji 1981-1994 ".

Naravno, za tu knjigu sam ja uradio pripremu za stampu. Kroz citanje rukopisa shvatio sam o kakvom se dragocenom coveku radi, za americke staforde kao rasu, ne samo za prostor Jugoslavije, vec i mnogo sire.

Uopste, Kicin rad, bilo da je vezan za izdavacku delatnost ili odgajivacki program je od neprocenjive vrednosti za sve one koji, bilo da nista ne znaju, misle da sve znaju, ili jednostavno ponesto znaju o rasi americki stafordski terijer.

Kica mi je ukazao poverenje i na njegov nagovor sam napisao svoju prvu knjigu - " Americki Stafordski Terijeri u Jugoslaviji 1995-1996 ", koja nije nista drugo nego nastavak njegove knjige.

That is so true - it is a lot harder to stay on te top than to climb on the top.

That needs a lot of work, a lot of honesty and also some luck !

So, this is not just congratulations, it is also a big THANK YOU for all that you have done for our breed !

Rade Dakic Kica is a person who do a lot of things for American Staffordshire terriers.

Kica is a person who makes this dogs close to us and who help understanding this breed.

In every breed there are some important persons. We must be grateful to then every day because their works are essentials for the breed. And I am realy sure that my friend Kica is one of them...

There is one thing which is more difficult than to write about myself.

For me and my girlfriend Federica, Kica is a part of Amstaffs as a breed, no matter he have only 2 legs.

I will never leave this breed, because of the all nice qualities this breed offers to dog lovers and also I will never leave this breed because of a few people who are involved in this breed and among them is for sure Kica.

Your kinological work in last 20 years was of very serious quality and very important for European Amstaff's history .

After seeing your books and watching your web site, I can not say more than that I am incredible impressed !!!

A big thank you for everything you have done for this wonderfull breed.

You are a true inspiration for everyone involved in it !!!
